If you’re a mom to a young girl, you’ve probably struggled with the life lessons you should be teaching her along the way. This one truly resonates with me as my only child, Amber, is the center of my universe. Raising a daughter during challenging times in the world can make you question everything, while at the same time inspiring you to empower her in many ways. It’s a tough world out there and a generation of young girls will soon become women, running the most successful corporations, having a place in politics and in turn raising another generation of women. The cycle is endless.

As moms, guardians, aunts, grandmothers, teachers – anyone really – it’s our job to instill life lessons in the minds of the young girls who will grow up to be amazing and empowered women. #7. Never need anyone. Wanting is a different thing.

 

#8. To give and teach when and where you can are beautiful things.
