The first trailer for their new animated film Coco has been released and it looks so incredibly entertaining for both children and adults. The holidays are coming around quick and thanks to Disney Pixar, it’s going to be a lot of fun!
First Look: “Coco” Trailer
The story follows a young boy named Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez) who ends up in the Land of the Dead. He meets many family members who have passed on there and they take him to the Department of Family Reunions where a busy clerk (voice of Gabriel Iglesias) informs him that he’s cursed. To return to the Land of the Living, Miguel will need a magical marigold petal and the blessing of a family member—but, according to the clerk, the family member can include any condition she likes—even forbidding music forever.
The thing is, Miguel wants to follow in his great-grandfather’s footsteps to become a musician. Will he find his long lost ancestor who may be the only one who can help him get back to the living without sacrificing his musical goals?
“Coco” opens in theaters on November 22.
