Charity is something my family is exceptionally passionate about, which is why my boy, Duane McLaughlin, is running to help Keep a Child Alive in this Sunday’s TCS New York City Marathon along with Cole Cook.

Keep a Child Alive is a vital charity who work in some of the countries hardest hit by the HIV epidemic, giving children and adults life-saving treatment against this deadly disease.
Last year alone, they reached 89,000 children, young people, and adults living with HIV. Shockingly, only 51% of children living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa are receiving the ART treatment that will save their lives. This is why Duane was so passionate about supporting this life-or-death charity.
Super proud of Duane for all of his hard work and dedicated training that will push him across the finish line, and for helping raise money for such an important cause.
The Keep a Child Alive team have so far raised a phenomenal $18,582. If you would like to support Duane and this incredible charity, please visit his fundraising page here. Every dollar really does help.
