The 2018 Oscars aired last night! I was working while watching the show once we settled down after Ayva’s party. We all needed to relax a little after celebrating our favorite girl, so watching the 2018 Oscars was just the ticket. This year was full of diverse, surprising, but welcome winners along with some stunning red carpet moments!

It’s a four-way tie for my favorite red carpet looks. Nicole Kidman, Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, and Armie Hammer got my picks for best-dressed.
Jimmy Kimmel made sure to kick things off with the help of Helen Mirren. He got the crowd going.

Best Actress Winner Frances McDormand made sure to celebrate all the women nominated during her impassioned speech. She advocated for inclusion within the film industry. It was a beautiful moment.
Jordan Peele made history as the first African American male to win an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his horror film “Get Out.” Congrats Jordan!
