10 Reasons You Should Do Good

10 Reasons You Should Do Good, be good, act good, do good, feel good, good

Did your mother ever tell you to “be good,” when you were younger? My parents would always remind me to be good— let’s just say, I was a mischevious kid. As I got older and became more involved in my faith and spirituality, I realized that being good just doesn’t cut it. You have to do good as well. Give big, be charitable while giving love to everyone you meet. I try to volunteer my time and get involved with efforts that I believe in! It doesn’t take much! Below are ten reasons why you should do good in this world! Read on to learn more and let me know what you think of this post in the comments.

  1. It doesn’t take much. Sometimes, I just like to give a compliment to someone on the street. A simple “nice smile” is all it takes!
  2. Doing good has its benefits!
  3. It cures sadness. Feeling depressed? One of the best ways to get out of that funk is to do something good for someone else. Do good to feel happier.
  4. Get out of your comfort zone.  Doing a good deed means that you have to do something you might not be used to doing on a regular basis.
  5. Your good act might push someone else to do good.
  6. Doing good shows others what kind of values you hold as a person.
  7. You can teach your young ones through example.
  8. Improve society and make the world a better place by being generous and loving.
  9. You can help someone in dire need of help.
  10. You show yourself love by loving those around you.
