Transgender advocate and actress Trace Lysette posted a picture of her along with Transparent co-star Alexandra Billings at the SAG Awards red carpet. The look was so gorgeous that I had to post it. Trace’s look takes a lot of blending in order to create this light smoky eye. Consider using an extra fluffy brush. For the eyelid, go for a creamy light shade. My top pic would be the Motives Mineral Eye Shadow in Allure. Apply the primer all over your eye before adding your shadows.
Dip it in some dark grey are black shadow. Use something with sparkle in order make your eye look stand out. Before applying, be sure to tap off the access powder. You want to build upon the base with these colors so you don’t want to start out with something too dark. Remember, if you have any fall out on your cheeks from the shadow, be sure to dust it off with a fluffy powder brush. Add some inner corner highlight with a vanilla shadow. For cheeks, aim for a super shimmery highlight shade. You gotta make sure the light catches your face. Lightly powder your face and you’ve got a perfect dewy finish.
