Social media is full of strange and unique nail trends for you to copy, which is one of the reasons I love checking out new nail trends to see what’s in! If you’re getting your nails done this Halloween weekend, why not go for the strangest nail trend to come out of the world of social media this year: succulent nails! And, I’m not just talking about gluing some fake succulent plants on your nails.

Cosmopolitan reported that Australian artist Roz Borg recently discovered a technique to keeping her succulents living on her nails. Sounds odd, but cool right? According to the article:
“In order to achieve the look, Borg glues the baby succulents to an acrylic nail using Oasis floral adhesive, then attaches the nail to her real nail after it dries. She tells the publication that the whole process takes hours — but it’s definitely worth it, and it’s safe to say the finished look is unlike anything you’ve ever seen at your local nail salon. Plus, once the “polish” starts to “chip,” it’s actually quite environmentally friendly.”-via
Once the succulents start falling off Borg uses them to grow baby succulents, which is great for her garden and business! I must say, I do love unique nail trends, and if this one works for you, then go for a green thumb of your own!
