I loved the natural glowy makeup look La La wore on New Year’s Day. She looked fabulous. Check out her look below, created by makeup artist, Natasha Gross.
She looks fabulous, no? To help you get this look at home, I talked to Natasha Gross herself! She sent me all the steps and products she used to create this look. Read on to learn what it takes to get this gorgeous, glam makeup right now!
Prep: I started off by using Tarte Majacuja Oil to quench the skin. It leaves the skin looking hydrated & dewy without that greasy feeling.
Eyes: I started off La La’s look with eyes by using a Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Camel, which is an earthy caramel matte brown. I used a large fluffy brush and took that shade all over her lids, making sure not to create any harsh creases. I took that same eyeshadow color and smudged it underneath her lash-line. Next, I went in with Ardell Whisky Lashes. I love using these lashes because they create a fluttery bambi look. We didn’t use any eyeliner, just lots of mascara.
Brows: LaLa has the most beautiful eyebrows so they barely needed anything to make them pop. I took my Soft Brown Anastasia Pencil and made upward hair strokes to resemble the more natural shape to her brows. I then used Anastasia Duo Powder in Soft Brown and made the same upward motions. Lastly, I went in with a little bit of clear gel to keep her brows in place.

Face: The Tarte skin oil gave La La a radiant glow so I took my Makeup Forever Hydrating Primer and applied it all over her face. I also used my Becca Mattifying Primer and applied it in small areas like on the forehead, chin and a little beside the nose. These are areas are where people normally get oily, even if they have semi-dry skin.
I used my Makeup Forever HD Foundation and blended it all around her face. I always use a damp beauty sponge. It helps blend the foundation and makes the look natural rather than heavy. I like to be able to look at the person’s face after I blend and see skin, not just foundation.
To contour, I used AJ Crimson Foundation. I love how it blends so easily. It’s a semi matte finish so your contour doesn’t look super oily after hours of wear. I also love using his foundations to build coverage when needed.
Next, I used a NARS Concealer. I absolutely love this product. It’s hydrating, luminous, and the best concealer hands down. I wanted to give her skin a beautiful luminous glow so I used Cover FX Illuminating Drops in Sunlight. After highlighting, I used a mixture of Ben Nye Banana Powder and Kat Von D’s Setting Powder, avoiding the areas I placed her highlight. I let it bake for a little bit and then brushed the excess powder away. I used a bronzy blush by MAC called Love Joy.
Lips: I used Colourpop Lip Liner in a Deep Plum and finished it off with Cyber lipstick from MAC.
That’s it for La La Anthony’s New Year’s Day look! If you loved this look be sure to check out Natasha’s website and Instagram for more makeup looks!
