The whole reason I started this blog was to give an outlet to my passion project: fashion. I wanted to bring you stories that interested me and showed off my personal style. At the same time, I wanted to give my opinion on celebrity style and talk about trends. Thus far, it’s been a blast, but now it’s time to discuss some of the literature that has inspired me personally! I have a few fashion and beauty books at home and whenever I’m in need of some inspiration, I crack them open and take my time delving into each artful page. My Favorite Fashion Books
Vogue Covers, SHOP.COM, $99.00- This book brings me lots of inspiration! Vogue covers throughout the years were so glamorous. It’s fun to see how much fashion and beauty has changed over the years. This book also helps bring me some perspective. It’s a must-have, if you ask me!
Face to Face: Amazing New Looks and Inspiration by Top Celebrity Makeup Artists, SHOP.COM, $23.24- When I want to see some of my friends, I pop open this book. Check out Kim K on the cover.
Makeup Your Mind, SHOP.COM, $28.36- Francois Nars is a genius when it comes to makeup so , for me, this book is a must-have. It gives me so much inspiration for my own beauty and makeup looks. Love it!
Kevin Aucoin Making Faces Book, SHOP.COM, $21.99- Kevin Aucoin is another beauty mind whom I admire. I base a lot of my beauty choices on this fashion book. The pages are chockfull of vibrant and vivid images to make you want to try a hand at makeup artistry.
