Take Care of Your Designer Shoes With These Tricks

Boxes– To prevent them from rubbing together and collecting dust, keep your shoes in their original boxes. Either that, or put them on shoe racks and make sure their separated. I keep them on a shoe rack but I hear boxes keeps them as good as new! Plus, it’s always a great surprise when you open the box!

Baby Wipes- Use baby wipes to clean off scuffs and dirt. I prefer a hypoallergenic formula that’s gentle and cleans rather than damage the shoes.

Newspaper – After a long day of wearing your designer shoes, stuff them with some newspaper. Doing this gives shoes shape and absorbs moisture. It redefines the shape for more worn out shoes and keeps them looking as good as new.

Baby Powder– Preventative measures are important!  Dust baby powder into your designer pumps before wearing them. Doing this, reduces sweat, which reduces stink and keeps your shoes looking and feeling new.

Vaseline– Finally, for patten leather shoes, apply vaseline to keep their shine! This is one of my favorite tips so be sure to keep it in mind!
