The 2017 autumn/winter runway shows were full of super unique beauty looks, from hair to nails and everything in between. I made sure to keep an eye out for some of my favorite makeup, hair, and nail looks. When patterns start to emerge, that’s when I know it’s set to be a major trend for the season. Fall’s Biggest Beauty Trends
Makeup
Punchy Pastels- From those bright lashes at Emilio Pucci to Prabal Gurung’s color blocked lids, this fall runway was full of colorful pastels worn in styles made popular in the 80s. This fall, it isn’t about dark, warm shades. Instead, we’re moving into bright shades normally seen during the summer and spring. This is definitely new and unique. Love it!
Au Natural- Dior sent their models down the runway with clean, makeup-free faces. I’ve noticed that this is becoming the new normal on the runway. Naked faces may not be a trend that will stick in the beauty world, but we’re definitely moving toward a minimal makeup trend.
Ditched Lip Liner- Smudged lips were major on the runway for this season. Plenty of designers featured models with feathered out lipstick that looked worn. This fall, consider ditching your lipliner and rocking a stain instead of a full-on lipstick.
Hair
Cropped Locks- All the biggest fashion “it” girls seem to be rocking shorter hair, from Kendall Jenner to Bella Hadid to Dilone. Everything from pixie cuts to French bobs are in this season, so don’t be afraid to make the chop.
Vibrancy- The vibrant hair trend is something I’ve talked about on the blog before so know that it’s going to be in for fall and winter as well. Models with bright pink and green locks were seen all over fashion month. You couldn’t miss them even if you tried!
Nails
Extreme Nails- The fall winter runways saw extreme nails hit the runway. It’s all about bright and unique nail art this fall and winter! Check it out below.
