Stress has such a negative impact on our overall health. It can lead to, increase, or worsen conditions like migraines, diabetes, depression, and heart disease. I want to live my best, healthiest life, and I want the same for all of you. So please keep reading for my best tips to manage stress, but still find a productive Zen balance in your life to keep yourself sane but keep the hustle going.

#1. Your “Pretty Good” Is Most People’s “Perfect”

Give yourself a break. Sometimes it’s helpful to think of the “work smarter not harder” mantra to get stuff done. Perfection is, as we all know, an unachievable standard. And since you’re already a hard-working boss babe, cut yourself some slack from time to time and settle for “pretty good” instead of perfection.

#2. Give Yourself 15 Minutes Each Day To “Just Be”

Turn the lights off, lay down, listen to soft music, light some candles, and focus on breathing. Make this part of your daily ritual, whether it’s in the morning or at night (or both) to center yourself and let your body feel at peace.

#3. Talk It out with a Fellow Hustler

Make sure to have a trusted friend and fellow entrepreneur on speed dial in times of crisis. And make sure to return the favor whenever they need it. Talking through your situation with someone who likely has been there, or at the very least, is in your same state of mind (#hustle), will give you not only immediate perspective, but you’ll feel better physically getting the words and thoughts out of your body as well.

#4. TreatYourself

Whether you love hot yoga, massages, pedicures, or naps, make sure to treat yourself every once in a while to something relaxing and indulgent. Working out, whether it’s yoga, running, or Zumba will get your endorphins going and make you feel relaxed but energized. If you focus on the relaxing aspect of massages and pedicures, those treats are also great for relaxing and feeling pampered. You can even do something simple at home like taking an afternoon nap, drinking a glass of wine, and putting on your favorite face mask.
