How to Overcome Bad Feelings With Good Thoughts
Gratitude- One way to help you get out of that funk is to focus on the good. When I’m feeling bad, I think about what I’m grateful for. It could be a beautiful day or a moment with my grandkids, either way, I remind myself of all the good in my life, and it cheers me right up.
Remind Yourself of What You Want- I don’t know about you, but when I think about that amazing car or that dream house, my vibes instantly get higher. Instead of thinking of a lack of something, I think of the abundance of it. Think of all the stuff you want in your life coming right your way and your bad mood with dissipate.
Meditate- Meditation doesn’t teach you to control your thoughts. In this case, it teaches you to guide your thoughts and be more aware of when and what you’re thinking of. It’s so helpful. Just 5 to 10 minutes a day will help you guide your thoughts to ones that feel good for you.
