I’ve been talking about 2019 goals as we get closer to the New Year. The New Year can be a time for change and reinvention if you want it to be. It’s all about doing your best while working hard. I know that among taking care of the kids, the husband, the house, a lot can get in the way. Goals? Who has time for that? At the same time, major goals seem daunting. This year, I decided to take control of my fitness and work to become more active. I took it day by day— I urge you to take your goals day by day or in this case, month by month. I dare you to tackle one goal a month. See where it gets you by the end of the year. Here’s how to take on one goal a month to make a serious change in your life. 2019, it’s time!
2019 Goals: Make One Change a Month
Write out your goals- Where would you like to be by 2020? Try to look into the future to figure it out. Is it a new car? Savings? Improving your business? First things first, you gotta get clear on your goals.
Make a date for each goal- Write down a due date for each goal. The trick is to keep up with them. As we get into the New Year, I urge you not to give up on your goals. Count how many you have. If you have 12, then give yourself monthly due dates. 6 goals? Bimonthly due dates. This is critical!
Get to work but stay positive- I’m a big believer in the power of thought, but I also believe that nothing works unless you do. How do I compensate between the two? I work hard while staying positive that my goals will get done and I have fun in the process. I overcome any obstacle that comes my way and I learn from mistakes. Stay positive that you’ll complete your goals but also work hard in the process.
