Will you be our valentine? Celebrity MUA, Song Lopez was our special host at last night’s VIP Beauty Lounge and it was nothing short of a magical experience.
Song started off by setting the tone for the night by guiding our VIPs to take a deep breath to let go of their day. “The biggest present you can give yourself is to be here right here with me. I want you guys to focus on enjoying yourselves!” said Song.

There were so many tips and tricks in this amazing VIP Beauty Lounge but one that blew me away was how to create the perfect winged liner using a bobby pin… Yes, a bobby pin!
Here’s how she did it: Take the side of the bobby pin that opens and place the bottom (or longer end) on the corner of your eye as shown below. Then, use the Precisely The Point Eye Line to fill in the corner almost like a stencil. It worked so perfectly!
Did you know that contouring is not just for the face? Song showed us that contouring and highlighting can also be for the eyes. You can create depth in the crease (contour) by using deeper shadow shades like ‘Fever’ and add dimension (highlight) with a pop of shimmer with shades like ‘Hard Wired’ from the Motives for La La Static Palette.
What’s Song’s secret to kissably smooth lips? The Motives MUAH Vanilla Lip Mask. She leaves it by her bedside table and applies it every single day!
I highly encourage you to take this as a sign to dedicate time for yourself.
