Always imagined what happens “Inside” the tents during New York Fashion Week? Last week I attended the Luca Luca show which happens to be one of my favorite designers and it was chaotic. New York Fashion Week is a series of runway shows made for designers to present their new collections to buyers, stylists and press, but what we forget is that is a thriving business for paparazzi and the who’s who of the industry. As I watched the overwhelming crowd of photographers in the middle of the runway hurdle over “The Hill’s” cutie Kristin Cavallari only made me think what is more important for them the celebrity or the clothes? I can only remember way back in the 80’s when no celebrities were allowed these shows were so hard to get into people would try anything and everything to get inside those tents. It was all about the designer, the clothes, the models this dream like world we all wish we were once part of. Do you feel our society is too media driven and some have forgotten the most important element, creativity?
