You might find a Facebook group that meets in your local community. You might get introduced to some bloggers with similar interests and get asked to do a guest post or two while you’re at it. Guest posting is another tool you can use to gain more readers while supporting a fellow blogger at the same time.
Does your story work for another platform? Submit it!- If you’ve got a blog post that might work on a another platform with a higher readership, consider submitting it to the website. You’ll get new eyes on that story. If they like it, they’ll make sure to check out your blog. You can always publish that story onto your blog with credit to the original story. It’s a great way to create content for your site while also gaining more readers.
Give your readers something to talk about- Get your readers excited about your next post by creating a countdown. Every so often, you can use this trick for a giveaway or a promotion. Ask viewers to follow your blog and tag a friend in order to get new eyes to your social media and blog at the same time. Not only does this create excitement, but you’re also giving something to your readers in return.
