5 Key Components to Running a Successful Business Using Social Media

 

Through social media and the ability to get to really know your customers, this should be an easy task to accomplish. All you need to do is listen to them and deliver what it is that they want, not what you want them to have. Take a look at these key components to running a successful business whether is blogging, fashion retailer, marketing company you need to ask yourself are you doing these? If not what is holding you back to improving them?

Take a moment to plan and write down a list of steps you can take to incorporate these components to your business:

1. What are you trying to sell and where do you get it? How do others access it?

2. Use social media to connect and learn from your customers. What are your customers looking for?

3. Send a consistent message.

4. Lead by example, motivate your team to Retweet you, promote your business through social media.

5. Offer great customer service, reply back, interact with your customers.

 

1. Knowing what to sell and where to get it. Look at who your readers or customers are and focus on learning about a select group of products that they are most interested in. Listen first and ask questions second. By doing your homework and knowing your products, you can get yourself on the right path towards being able to sell practically anything.

2. Use social media to broaden your connections and learn more about your customers. Who is your customer? If you can connect with someone and provide them with a great experience, they will always come to you regardless of it someone else can offer them a similar product. Once you’ve found what you feel is meaningful connection, don’t just ask them to connect with you. Send them a message – tell them what it is that drew you to them.

3. Send a consistent message. Not only is this important as a business owner because it establishes credibility, but it also creates a weak connection with your friends, family and customers. Before you speak, double check what you are saying and look at where the source came from.

4. Lead by example. Who do we often gravitate to? Those that have been successful. One tip for business owners is to follow other examples of successful business owners or companies – learn what they did, what it was that drew you specifically towards them. Many of today’s leaders have done the same thing. They have followed others that have been successful and them communicated this to others, so that they then become the leaders that other gravitate towards.

5. Offer great customer service. People have many places to go, they have options and too many of them, but if you offer great customer service you might become the winning place to go to. You could have everything you want, but if you can’t respond in timely manner or don’t know your products or services like it is your job, they may simply walk…
