Best Apps For Holiday Shopping

Are you need of some apps that will make your holiday shopping easier?  As the self-proclaimed shopping ‘queen’ I know how stressful it can get during the holiday season.  As busy entrepreneur, mom, wife, and friend it’s important to use whatever tools possible to make our lives easier, less stressful, and save us more time.  Tis’ the season for shopping, so instead of stressing yourself out at the stores I found a few great apps for you that will help you along the way.  Below is my list for best apps for holiday shopping.

1. Red Laser: is a great for finding items online and in nearby bricks and mortar stores.  Red Laser also includes a handy feature for making simple shopping lists, and a history feature that records all the items you’ve looked up, so you can go back and find things later on.

2. Price Check: Price Check displays search results, with the product at the top of the screen and three tabs that let you quickly scroll through prices, a description, and user reviews.  Price Check has abundance of product reviews.

3. Gift plans: Denotes each gift-giving occasion with different color, it makes it easy to spot them on the app’s built-in calendar, and you can choose when and how often you want to be notified about upcoming events.  You can also set up a pass code to keep sneaky loved ones from snooping at your list.

4. Shop kick: This makes shopping fun by turning your shopping into real-world rewards.  The app shows you a list of nearby stores, each of which you get a certain number of “kicks,” or points for visiting.  You can also link your Visa debit or credit card to your Shop Kick account so you’ll automatically get points for certain purchases.  Collect enough “kicks” and you can get rewards such as a gift certificates to Target or Best Buy.

5. Google Shopper: One of the most comprehensive and versatile shopping app on the market, providing multitude of options for launching and browsing price comparisons.  You can speak product names into the phone, scan bar codes or if the item is a form of media, scan the cover art.  Once searched, Google Shopper delivers online prices, reviews, and product specs.

6. Lemon: It helps keep all your receipts on track.  Lemon app converts paper receipts into digital copies stored in a single, organized database.  You take a picture of the receipt and Lemon reads and stores the information.  It can analyze e-mail receipts as well.  Whether you need them for personal records or purchase verification, there’s no better way to keep organized during the holidays.

7. Gift List: It has a great way of useful tracking your holiday purchases while sticking to a budget.  You create quick profiles for each person you’re shopping for by entering his or her name, the items you intend to purchase a budget for each individual.
