New beauty trends can seem intimidating, especially those that require more than one step but, trust me, multimasking is worth checking out! Most women have combination skin. That means that our faces aren’t entirely oily or entirely dry. For example, I suffer from having an extremely dry chin and oily cheeks. With the masks out there, you can only treat one of those symptoms. What’s a woman to do? Multimasking is the answer! Treat each part of your skin with a different mask so you treat your problem areas for a customized facial. If you don’t know where to start, I have a multimasking facial for you that will help with some of your different problem areas. Read on to learn more!
Everything You Need to Know About Multimasking
- Start off with a deep pore cleanser. Use this specifically in your t-zone area to really get your pores and blackheads clean.
- Because most of us have dark marks, zits, and discoloration around our cheeks, I suggest you use an energizing mask. This should help brighten up the skin and freshen it as well. Use this on the chin if you’ve got a dry chin. For oily chins, go in with the pore clearer to get all that dirt and gunk out of there.
- I like a bright under eye area. Doesn’t everyone? That’s why I go in with a brightening mask. You want to apply this gently because your skin down there is so delicate. I love to go in with a foam mask. This is so gentle on your skin, but it gets the job done at the same time!
Remember, you don’t have to use so many masks to make your skin luminous. Figure out your problem areas and move from there. You may only need two masks. It all depends on your needs.
