Fall officially starts tomorrow and I’m more than excited! Aside from cozy sweaters, pumpkins and bonfires, we’ve got fall trends to look forward to! Are you ready to wear fall trends? To get you excited for the new season, I brought together some fashion influencers to see what trends they’re going to be reaching for. Check it out below to see what these fashion-forward ladies will be rocking this fall!
Mei Jorge from Blame It On Mei is going to be reaching for the softest, richest fabric the season has to offer.
“I am mostly looking forward to wearing velvet. Yes velvet! It was seen all through NYFW, and I can’t get enough of it. Its rich and lux appeal can definitely take any outfit to the next level. I can’t wait to embrace it full force by adding colored booties, slip dresses, blazers and even pants, all in velvet, to my wardrobe.”
BaubleBar ‘Duchess’ Velvet Choker, Nordstrom, $32.00
Fashion blogger, Ana Marino of Moda Addicted will be opting for ruffles has her fall staple.
“The fall trend I am most excited about is ruffles. I love how ruffles give life and movement to the garments! I am also excited about Victorian inspired blouses, which are sometimes combined with ruffles. I love the conservative look it gives you, and the poise and elegance.”
J.Crew Ruffle Sleeve Top, Nordstrom, $59.50
Laura Reyes from The Fashion Diva is giving me nostalgia with her top pick for fall.
“Boho-chic was one this year’s most popular Spring/Summer trends. This Fall, you can expect to see a little of this relaxed bohemian style carry over into the season as peasant tops are making the front stage on catwalks, street styles, and even office-wear. Personally, I love the variations of sleeves and the sweet embroidered details! I’m exited to add this trend to my fall wardrobe, because it can compliment both trouser jeans or pencil skirts. The peasant top is an effortless staple for Fall.”
Free People, ‘Hendrix’ Print Peasant Blouse, Nordstrom, $64.80
Haus of Lo‘s Lauren Riccardo prefers a more deconstructed look with camo and cargo jackets.
“I’m seeing the camo and army style coming back into action this fall. For example, a popular fall outfit that anyone can pull off is the classic olive green cargo jacket, white t-shirt, ripped denim and the adidas sneakers. And what’s neat about the cargo jacket is that it can be paired with any outfit–very versatile!”
Topshop Sage Camo Shirt Jacket, Nordstrom $85.00
While Cristina Garcia owner of the Coral Gables boutique, Kiki is choosing to keep things simple down in Miami.
“The fall trend I am most looking forward to wearing is florals with bold colors and prints. Since we live in Miami this is a trend that fits our mood and climate.”
Lush Karly Shift Dress, Nordstrom, $48.00
