It’s shaping up to be a wonderful year for singer/actress Becky G. Ahead of her major motion picture debut, Power Rangers in March, the 19-year-old hit the red carpet at the annual Premios Lo Nuestro Awards on Friday. Becky looked like a princess in a pink Elie Youssef Couture gown and Jimmy Choo strappy heels. Celebrity hair stylist Rob Scheppy finished her look by leaving her brunette locks loose and natural.

What I love the most about this look is that it can be used on a red carpet, a hot date, or girls night out. Rob breaks down how he created Becky’s look in just four easy steps.
- To create Becky G’s look, I started by washing her hair with the Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, which provided volume and bounce.
- Then, I towel dried the hair to remove excess water. I added Dove Style+Care Curls Defining Mousse to help eliminate frizz and to create control.
- Once the hair was prepped, I divided her hair into multiple sections and blow-dried it with a large round brush, creating a loose curl on the ends.
- To finish the look, I applied a light veil of l Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray while tousling hair back and forth. This gave the hair texture and volume, and held the loose curl from the blow dry.
