The American Music Awards aired this weekend, and I couldn’t help but notice Lea Michele’s gorgeous sleek hairstyle. Lea Michele’s AMAs look was so pretty and something we can all achieve during the holiday season—especially with the help of celebrity hairstylist, John D. Check out her look created by John D below.

Gorgeous! John D sent over some of his tips on how you can recreate this look at home. Try out this look for the holiday season. You’ve got what it takes. Read on to learn more, ladies!
Step 1: Prep clean, towel dried hair using a couple of pumps of the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shine Serum in palms and rake into hair, from mid-lengths through to the ends. Then blow-dry, so it’s nice and smooth.
Step 2: To make sure Lea’s naturally wavy hair stayed nice and smooth, I ran a flat iron throughout the hair. But first, I spritzed each section of the hair with the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray to tame frizz and ensure a smooth, shiny finish.
Step 3: Lock the look into place by pinning the sides of the hair just behind the ear. Then, spritz the style using the TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hair Spray around the frame of the face.
