Youtube beauty guru MannyMUA has flawless looking skin, but it wasn’t the skin he was born with. Nope, they don’t call him a beauty guru for nothing, ladies. He’s perfected his flawless foundation routine over time and recently went to YouTube to share it. It’s all about having that flawless base without looking cakey. Check out his video below.
How to Keep Your Foundation Flawless All Day
I love his tips! When I’m getting ready for convention and conference, these are techniques that Jackie uses on me. We love that flawless face look, and it’s important to us that it lasts all day long!
For that flawless look, be sure to start off with moisturizer. I love starting off my makeup look with moisturizer because it helps me feel like my makeup is sticking to something.

For a powerless appearance, apply your favorite face primer! This is another step that helps your makeup stick in areas like your t-zone. Primer also prevents your look from getting oily.

MannyMUA uses 3 to 4 different foundations for his whole face. Sure, you could do this, but it might be a bit more cost effective to go in with one foundation. I suggest that you use your fingers if you want a look that’ll last all day. When using a beauty blender or brush, your makeup gets sucked away, so you can really get that full coverage by using your fingers. If you see that your foundation looks cakey, use a damp beauty blender to take away some of the foundation.

Next, you want to go in with your concealer. Make sure to press it into your skin with a sponge to help diffuse any cakey looking makeup. Once you’ve done that, you’re going to want to bake—everywhere. Use a super fine powder to set your entire face of foundation. Start off with the areas that you highlighted before going in elsewhere. This is an important step because this is what helps your makeup look flawless all day long.
