It’s no secret that almost everyone who saw the first season of Stranger Things is obsessed. The TV show set in the 80s made waves last year when it premiered on Netflix. Well, now the show is making it’s runway debut. It’s not hard to love the show that’s centered around 3 misfits whose friend goes missing just as they meet a girl with special powers. I guess the fashion industry caught on. Among the dresses and floral blouses that were sent down the Louis Vuitton spring 2018 runway was a single Stranger Things graphic tee. Check it out below.

Paired with a floral collard blouse and some pink pants, designer Nicolas Ghesquière sent the top that featured the shows main characters down the runway. Ghesquière told Vogue, “I met the kids last season, and we had a very good time. And so we spoke and we thought it was very funny, maybe, to do a little citation of the series that is coming out soon in the show. It’s always great to have a little accident like that in the styling, like if the girl has kept her T-shirt from backstage in a way, and so Stranger Things . . . I think it was one of the most wanted clothes backstage by the girls.”
See, everyone loves the show! I love this pop culture shout out. It was definitely a unique addition to the collection that everyone’s talking about.
What do you think of the Stranger Things addition? Would you like to see more pieces like this on the runway? Let me know in the comments section or tweet me @lorenridinger,
