Miami is known for its fun, sun and skin especially during Miami Swim Week 2017. Last week, fashion and swimsuit lovers hit The W Hotel in South Beach to check out all the runway shows this year had to offer. Designers made sure to show off their best and most innovative designs on models who made their way down the runway. I’ve got some trends for you to check out! Read on to learn more and let me know what you think in the comments section. Which trend can you see yourself wearing next summer? Let me know down below!
Sleeved Full Pieces- Full pieces with sleeves were all over the catwalk this year. I love this trend because it combines surf wear with beachwear, creating a super flattering trend. Check out some of the full pieces below.
I love this suit from the Lybethras show. It’s so sexy and sleek. I can see this design becoming huge next summer.
High Neck Tops- This trend was everywhere this Swim Week from the Lee+ Lani show to the Hammock collection. High necks were a popular swimwear trend this year, but I predict we’ll be seeing them everywhere summer 2017.
Mesh and Crocheted Pieces- Like I said, at Swim Week you see a lot of skin. Designers featured swimsuits that used crochet and mesh to create unique textures and designs so models hit the runway showing off even more than expected.
Key Hole Designs- There were also designs that featured keyhole openings in them, which is a very chic way to show off some skin! Check out some of the designs below!
Over all, Miami Swim Week 2017 was full of some unique designs. 2017 is sure to be a fun year in swimwear! Let these pieces inspire your next swimwear purchase.
