Nike is still #1 when it comes to everyone’s favorite sneaker, but now a new shoe has hit up the coveted second spot that’s changing the game. According to WhoWhatWear, “Footwear News reported on a new study conducted by The NPD Group, which revealed that Adidas is officially the second most popular sneaker brand in the U.S., beat out only by Nike, of course.” Yup, Adidas beat out the ever popular Jordan brand, known for the famous Air Jordans sneaker.
There’s a New Super Popular Sneaker
This is major news! According to Footwear News, “This is a big seat change. Nike and Jordan have dominated the U.S. market for decades.” I love news like this because it reminds me that anything is possible. If a brand like Adidas can beat out the Jordan brand after decades of holding the second spot then that means anything is possible. What does the future hold for the sneaker world? I guess only time will tell.
