I recently wrote about my secret to great looking legs. When I’m on stage, I want my legs looking fabulous. Great looking legs bring me confidence and help me to take on MAWC and MAIC with full force. Mylo helps me by applying Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Makeup and Sally Hansen Airbrush Shimmer. The combination of these products really helps make my whole look come together and give me just the tanned look I like.
Top Tips for a Gorgeous Self Tan
A post shared by Loren Ridinger (@lorenridinger) on
During the summertime I love having a full-on tan. The only problem is that I hate tanning. I want my skin to glow, but I definitely don’t want to sun’s harmful rays damaging my skin. That’s why I aim for a self tanner to give me that bronzed look I love so much! I’ve got some tips to get your skin to tanned perfection. Read on to learn more!
- First things first, shower!
- Exfoliate your skin while in the shower. This will help create an even base for that gorgeous glow. Be sure to exfoliate the parts of your body that you’ll be using self tanner. Don’t miss a spot!
- Moisturize all your problem areas. I aim for my elbows, knees, and the back of my heels. Doing this helps my tan look even. Dryer areas of the skin skin tend to absorb more so they look darker than the rest of my skin.
- Scrub the palms of your hands and the bottoms of your feet once you’re all done with your tanner. This is one of my top tips! Doing this makes my tan look more natural and removes residue from areas that don’t usually get hit by sun. A natural looking tan is my top priority in the summer!
That’s it for my self tanning tips. Will you be aiming for the self tanner anytime soon? In the meantime, shop this post for the best self tanning products out there!
