Motives® for La La co-founder, La La Anthony made it clear to Elle.com that being a “bad bitch,” isn’t all that the media oftentimes makes it out to be. Read on to learn more!
According to La La,”you can take the power out of any word, it just depends on how you use it. I realized that a bad bitch is a good thing. It means you’re in control and it means you know what you want. You have a good head on your shoulders.”
I couldn’t help but agree more. La La is a woman who is tough, beautiful, and empowered. I feel lucky to be her friend. She’s an entrepreneur like me so we understand what it’s like to be in control of what we want. Along with being the co-founder of Motives® for La La, the powerhouse has got a lot going on this year from a fashion line with Lord & Taylor to a movie based off of her best selling book, The Love Playbook. But apparently La La doesn’t seem to phased by her busy schedule.

In the interview, she also preaches the importance of of self-love and self care.
“I’m learning that as I go, because I have always put family, friends, life, work before myself and I get to myself later. And now I’m realizing you can’t ‘get to you’ later. You being great, makes everyone else around you great, makes you a better mom, a better person. You being great makes you better for everyone else.”
