It’s amazing just how much we start thinking about New Year’s resolutions as soon as the year end starts to get close. It’s such a great opportunity for annual renewal – giving anyone the chance to start fresh, make changes (big and small) and think about how to achieve goals for the future. With the New Year pending, I am right there with you, considering all options for resolutions. To be honest, I’m finding it more challenging than ever to narrow it down and decide on what’s most important for me to focus on. If you find yourself waffling, like me, here’s a look at 15 resolutions that will inspire your New Year’s list.

#1. Stop procrastinating and start doing. This one might be a little easier said than done, but if you’re up for a challenge, I say go for it!
#2. Take time to breathe and focus every single day. Perhaps test the waters with some beginner meditation skills.
#3. Take a chance on something and don’t look back.
#4. Commit to making some form of exercise part of your new 2017 daily routine.
#5. Start going to bed earlier and waking up earlier too. Making the most of your day feels amazing – you just have to get into a routine.
#6. Spend time reading every day. No matter how busy you are, make reading a priority – even if it’s just for a few minutes before you doze off.
#7. Keep your home, office and car neater, cleaner and more organized. It will feel amazing!
#8. Strive to achieve some work/life balance. Make just as much time for fun as you do for work. It always pays off!
#9. Get back in touch with old friends who you miss and love.
#10. Join a conversational language group to learn a completely new language – you’ll have such a wonderful time.
#11. Drop the smoking habit and pick up something healthy instead. This one is a lifesaver.

#13. Make your savings account your priority. That might mean getting creative, but that’s why resolutions are a challenge!
