When we think about ourselves and our own success, we often are filled with feelings of doubt and apprehension. It’s ridiculous! We should be our own biggest fans. But, I get it. It’s tough. It’s a harsh world out there, filled with critics and people who project their own lack of confidence on others. While those feelings our doubt may be the norm, you don’t have to be part of that. You have the ability to build up your own confidence and remind yourself you have all the makings of being great. You are beautiful, you are talented, you are smart….see where I’m going here? If you joined us at Market America International Convention this summer, you know we talked a lot about this – you, me….we all have the ability to be great. Let’s chat for a minute about why.
5 Reasons You Have All the Makings of Being Great
You inspire those around you. That’s an easy one. People love you! Whether it’s family, friends, coworkers…you’re fun to be around and you do and mean what you say. When you get excited about something so does everyone you’re with. It’s an incredible talent and one that will serve you well for years to come.
You’re trustworthy. This is big. Being able to trust someone is essential when it comes to building a relationship of any sort. Whether it’s a business relationship or a new friendship or even something romantic, trust is the foundation on which it’s built. When people know they can trust you, you’re greatness is rock solid.
You’re constantly growing and learning. Rather than being stagnant or stuck in your ways, you’re open to learning new things, trying new things and attempting new ways of doing things – that’s incredible! Flexibility is the name of the game and people love knowing they can show you their ideas. When you’re open to learning and you’re ready to tackle new projects with an open mind and heart, your community will grow and your mind will continue to evolve. It’s an incredible and admirable quality.
Your passion is contagious. When you get excited about something, everyone knows it. That makes being around you super high energy and tons of fun. So, let it flow! Don’t hold back. Show the world just how excited you are about new adventures ahead. Your enthusiasm will leave a wake of smiles and automatically grow your network and spread the word. It doesn’t matter if it’s a new project or a new product, getting everyone on board is your specialty.
You’re OK with being imperfect. This is one of the best qualities around. You’re always striving to be the best, but you know what you don’t know – and, that’s OK. When things don’t go 100% right the first time, you don’t get mad – you learn. And, you try, try again. When you show your vulnerability, everyone around you recognizes that you’re human too – and they can relate. When you stand back up after something doesn’t work out and go for it again with a different strategy, you inspire people to learn and keep at it.
