1) Put Down Your Phone. Stop checking your email and social media sites, even if it’s just for an hour. Try to disconnect and enjoy some time alone with your thoughts. Just be present.
2) Go Outside. See what’s around. Get some fresh air. Take a walk. Spring is here and the flowers are blooming. This is the perfect time to finally get out and enjoy the weather.
3) Spend More Time with People You Care About. Make time to hang out with friends and family. Go to brunch, or invite people over for a casual afternoon. Your to-do list will still be there. It’s ok to set it aside for a short while.
4) Try Making a New Dish. Instead of ordering in or eating out, pick up some fresh ingredients at a local farmer’s market and try making a meal you’ve never cooked before.
5) Relax. Carve out some time to do just sit back and relax. You don’t have to get it all done. It’s ok to sit back and just breathe before starting another work week.
