Nearly everyone has moments of anxiousness and for some people learning to avoid anxiety at work is a real challenge. Avoiding anxiety is tough, especially if you have too much to do or deadlines to meet. But when you finally get over the hump and embrace a sense of confidence, you will feel so good. Here’s a few tips to avoid anxiety at the office and get your groove back.

  1. Stay busy. The busier you are, the more time you will spend checking things off your to-do list and less time worrying about them piling up.
  2. Redirect your anxiety. Rather than dwelling on something offer to help a coworker or take a walk to turn it into positive energy.
  3. Talk it out. If you’re trying to avoid anxiety at work, grab one of your work besties and talk about it.
  4. Listen to music. Throw your earphones in and rock out while getting your work done.
  5. Get some air. Step outside into the sunshine and fresh air and take some cleansing deep breaths.
