Happy Monday! Most people say Happy Friday at the end of the week, but lets change things up a bit. It’s a new week, new month and new year so how about we finally follow through with our resolution to stop hating on Mondays? The first day of our work week deserves our best; we should all take a few minutes in the morning to meditate and discover a calm energy and brighter outlook. Here are a few more ways to beat those Monday blues 🙂

5 Ways to Beat Those Monday Blues

  1. Sleep in. Yes, I said it! Keep your Monday mornings relaxed and purposeful, setting the tone for the rest of the week.
  2. But do still work out! Even if you skip your a.m. session, book an endorphin-pumping cardio class for after work – like Zumba!
  3. Connect. Whether it’s a phone call to your mom on the drive in to work or lunch with a friend, keeping in touch with those you love makes the day a little better.
  4. Stop living for the weekend! Saturday and Sunday are great but just because you’re in the office Monday-Friday doesn’t mean you’re cut off from having any fun. Make low-key plans with pals or schedule a mini date with your significant other.
  5. Mind over matter – simply stop telling yourself how horrible Mondays are!
