Do you ever wake up with your dreams so vivid in your mind, you almost can’t shake going over them again and again in your head? It happens to all of us at one time or another – and, sometimes on repeat. #1. THE DREAM: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE via Livestrong
A commonly recurring dream for women involves being chased, says Lauri Quinn Loewenberg, author of “Dream on It: Unlock Your Dreams, Change Your Life!” She says these dreams are caused by “fight or flight” situations in waking life in which you choose avoidance rather than confrontation. If this is a dream you’ve had recently, ask yourself what it is you’re running from in your daily life, says Karen Silverstein, author of “Journey of an Apprentice Dreamer.”
#2. THE DREAM: SCHOOL DAZE
The experts seem to agree that almost all back-at-school dreams can be connected to job stress. Can’t find your locker or class? “That’s a good indication you’re feeling uncertain of your place at work or even your career choice.” Worried about the school bell ringing? “That suggests we feel time is running out on us in real life in the career department.”
#3. THE DREAM: FLYING HIGH
Nothing beats the flying dream. “It’s often connected to your ability to soar to new heights and reach a higher level in life. You may find yourself flying in your dreams when you have broken free from a bad relationship or a heavy situation the previous day.”

#4. THE DREAM: FALLING
The experts say, this dream a “red flag from your subconscious.” This dream is common in people who are having a major life problem with work, relationships, or elsewhere.
#5. THE DREAM: TEETH FALLING OUT
The experts greatly disagree on this one: teeth are viewed as a symbol of power and confidence. This dream is supposedly a sign that something happened in the dreamer’s life that has caused him or her to lose confidence. According to the experts, teeth are a bad omen and represent a broken relationship. For women, the dream is an example of wish-fulfillment—they want to become pregnant. For men, it is a desire for sexual stimulation.
#6. THE DREAM: SHOWING UP TO WORK NAKED
The experts largely agree that this dream represents vulnerability and anxiety. According to some research, this dream is “common to people who have accepted a promotion, gone off to a new job, or who are coming into public view.”
