While I browse photos of the runway for inspiration with my new Yours by Loren for HSN collection, I wanted to share some of my favorite 2013 spring jewelry trends I’ve come across so far. These six jewelry trends for spring include both timeless and trendy – let me know what you think!
6 Jewelry Trends for Spring 2013
- Emerald. Pantone’s Color of the Year is exceptionally stunning when it comes to jewelry and paired with a neutral dress. It’s a red carpet staple, as we’ve already seen this trend pop up at the 2013 Golden Globes and SAG Awards.
- Subtle Drop Earrings. I love my door knocker earrings but sometimes a subtle drop is all you need! It’s a great investment and are wearable for both day or a special occasion at night.
- Art Deco. 2012’s art deco jewelry trend is still lingering in the new year but the classic black and white combination is slowly starting to replace bold colors on pieces like earrings and necklaces.
- Snakes. 2013 is the year of the snake, both in the Asian calendar and on the runway! I’ve created a number of snake pieces for my Loren Jewels collection – sexy and mysterious.
- Estate. One of my favorite jewelry trends for spring, these pieces have a vintage appeal that will never go out of style. Think family heirloom or one of a kind.
- Hair Accessories. Hair ornaments have taken over the runways, from headbands to barrettes and bold bobby pins.
