For music lovers, new albums from Radiohead, Britney Spears, Whitesnake and Snoop Dogg are all available, along with an intriguing collaboration by Willie Nelson, Wynton Marsalis and Norah Jones and the score to TV’s No. 1 drama, “NCIS.”
Among the DVDs, the acclaimed ballet drama “Black Swan” takes a bow amidst controversy about just how much dancing Natalie Portman did in her Oscar-winning turn. Also, the latest Disney princess tale “Tangled,” the period film “Made in Dagenham” (which I’ll be reviewing) and the fourth season of the Emmy-winning (and now-delayed) series “Mad Men” are new to DVD.
On the bookshelf, Jean M. Auel releases the sixth and last volume in her wildly popular Earth’s Children series, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz offers another look into his coffee empire and rocker Sheryl Crow and Cooking Channel star Lisa Lillien publish healthy cookbooks.
