Celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day by Being Kind to Yourself
Make Time for Yourself- Today, before calling friends, and being kind to others, take some time to take care of you by doing your favorite thing. Maybe, it’s time to read or watch a movie. Either way, make it fun for you!
Forgive Yourself- Take some time to give yourself love and forgive your past indiscretions. Once you’ve forgiven yourself, try to be better to yourself and others moving forward.
Take Care of Yourself-Why not take a bath or moisturize your skin today? Eat healthy foods and speak kindly to yourself. Kindness starts with the way you treat yourself and your body.
Repeat a Mantra- Spend some time today, repeating a positive mantra. My favorite one is, “I am enough.” Take a deep breath and really focus on what that means today. You deserve it!
Stop Trying to Be Perfect- You can’t be perfect all the time! You’re going to make mistakes. Take a moment to accept the fact that you’re imperfect and that you don’t always have the right answers. It’s okay to make mistakes. A little self-compassion goes a long way.
