I’d love to take a moment to wish my love, JR, a happy wedding anniversary. When you’ve been together as long as we have, celebrating these milestones are a treat because they take us back to when we were just kids starting out – and it’s so special. Honestly, I can hardly remember what life was like before we started this crazy ride together. And what a ride it’s been. While I was looking back on our past anniversaries, I came across this note I wrote for him a few years ago. It still rings true. On our wedding anniversary, I hope you’ll indulge me in a little bit of a PDA for my honey. xoxo
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, JR:
I wrote this to you years ago and the words still mean so much to me. I hope you enjoy taking a walk down memory lane:
“The moment it happened 23 years ago on the beach in Barbados we never looked back and I would do it all over again in my next life, just to find you. You’re still the one and always have been. The happy and crazy years in between then and now… I love each and every one of them, all with you and Amber. It feels like a blink of the eye and here we are but I love you even more than I did back then.
Now we’re on a different beach – our very own in the Bahamas was the perfect gift to each other. The life we have built is beyond my wildest dreams but I know that the best is yet to come. I truly believe that today is just the first day of the rest of lives together.
