Do not wait for a change of environment before you act; get a change of environment by action. It’s never too late to act, most people don’t reach the success they are looking for because they are too afraid to take risks. Do not wait for that perfect moment, do not wait for research, take action of your environment, act with urgency because somewhere somehow someone else might be developing or executing the same idea.
Do not spend any time in a day dreaming of mansions and the life of the rich and famous; hold to the one vision of what you want and act now. You will not accomplish much by daydreaming, but you will accomplish your goals by following your vision and acting immediately. Do not cast about seeking some new thing to do, or some strange, unusual or remarkable action to perform as a first step towards becoming successful. It’s likely that your actions, your visions, goals will come and will be those performing for some time in the past.
When we were first started Market America, we did whatever it took to make things work and to make things happen. We weren’t experts at many things and we all didn’t have the proper training or education, but we figured it out and made things work. If you are engaged in any goal and feel that it is not the right one for you, do not wait until you get into the right business before you begin to act because you never know when the wrong business is actually the right business for you!
