We’re all trying to cope with stress. It gets to a point where you’re willing to try anything. But my question is, have you ever tried tapping? Yes, I’m serious!
Everything You Need to Know About Tapping
EFT or tapping is a “combination of Ancient Chinese Acupressure and Modern Psychology that works to physically alter your brain, energy system and body all at once,” according to Nick Ortner of The Tapping Solution.
EFT is considered a practice where you use your fingers to tap certain meridian points, points similar to those used in Chinese acupuncture. While tapping, you talk through certain stressors or specific emotions to help eliminate anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and even illness.
“Acupoint tapping sends signals directly to the stress centers of the mid-brain, not mediated by the frontal lobes (the thinking part, active in talk therapy).” Because EFT simultaneously accesses stress on physical and emotional levels, he adds, “EFT gives you the best of both worlds, body, and mind, like getting a massage during a psychotherapy session.”- via

Yes, I’ve used tapping myself to get myself through a few of life’s stressors. When I notice stress getting in the way of my thought process while working, I go to a quiet place and tap away. Once you’ve gotten the basics of EFT, talk your way through your problem while doing an EFT rotation, and try to end it on a positive note. I always remind myself that I love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath, and tap away.
