I have to tell you about this adorable little company
that hosts Thursday night girl get-to-gethers. The company, fittingly named
Thursdays, is owned by two 27-year-olds, Colleen Reilly and Stephania Stanley,
who together have been hosting Thursday-night gatherings since their college
days in Indiana. They’ve kept the tradition going in Louisville, KY and Fort
Greene, Brooklyn. Once a week the self-proclaimed “expert multi-taskers,
idea-generators, and friend-gatherers” continue to connect women with an
evening of food and crafts.
They just won DailyCandy’s Start Small, Go Big contest. Now
that they won some cash, expect to see some big things from these young
entrepreneurs. Check them out. It’s great to see people taking their passions and making a business out of it. Dream a little!
