GLSEN Day of Silence Designer Sketches

Designers sketch for GLSEN Day of Silence.  Tomorrow on April 20th, GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education will hold a National Day of Silence.  This day of silence is to bring attention to the bullying of LGBT individuals in schools.  Prominent fashion designers as well as other celebrities have supported the efforts of GLSEN by sketching their own personal perspective on the National Day of Silence.

Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera, Prabal Gurung, and Yigal Azrouel are just a few of the designers who are in support of the cause.  I think that bullying has become such a nasty epidemic with our young people.  We need to show our children love not hate and teach them to be tolerant of one another’s differences.  Bullying is never okay.  Everyone is not the same, but we all have something to offer.  Will you participate in GLSEN’s National Day of Silence?
