When you can’t stop crying and it seems like your relationship status will never be right, it’s time to figure out how to feel good again after a breakup. By showing yourself and others just how strong you can be, things will begin to fall into place and you will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Feeling good after a breakup may take longer than you’d expect, but before you know it, you’ll be back to normal and stronger than ever.
If you feel like you’ll never figure out how to feel good again after a break up, here’s my guide for showing yourself just how strong you can be.
How to Feel Good Again After A Break Up
- It’s ok to have a good cry. Even once a day, if you have to! Let it out and then pull yourself together.
- Stay positive. I know that’s easier said than done, but you can do it! A positive attitude can get you through anything.
- Be forgiving. Forgiving your ex for hurting you can be SO tough, but forgiveness will help you forget.
- Hold your head high. Even if you’re feeling down and out, it will end – and your next relationship will be even better.
- Get out. Get some exercise, meet the girls for drinks, go shopping – do whatever it takes to keep yourself active and on the go.
- Give it time. You have a broken heart – it isn’t going to heal overnight, and that’s ok.
