I recently came across an article, written by Life Coach Shannon Kaiser, about ways you can tell you are succeeding at life, even if it doesn’t feel that way. It resonated with me because I know there are times when it can feel as though we are working incredibly hard towards something but seeing no results. The reason we may not immediately recognize our progress is because taking small steps is usually what leads to momentum. But if we would just look back and measure the progress we’ve made from the very first moment we decided to take action, we would realize how truly far we’ve come. Here is a list of a few points that really stood out to me. The last one is my favorite. xo
How to Tell You Are Succeeding at Life
- Your relationships are less dramatic than they use to be.
- You may not have as much money as you want but you live a rich life.
- You’ve raised your standards.
- You let go of things that don’t make you feel good.
- You’ve learned that setbacks and failure are part of self-growth.
- You’ve accepted what you can’t change, but change what you can’t accept.
