Sometimes I think about all the things I want to do and see in my lifetime and I get a little overwhelmed. It might be tough to squeeze them all in! It’s great to have a long list of life goals and dreams, but have you ever wanted to put it all into perspective and figure out how to write a bucket list?
I think the first thing to keep in mind is that you can write a bucket list at any age! Maybe you just graduated from college or perhaps you recently retired – whatever your age, you can write a bucket list. To me, a bucket list should include all the adventures you want to try – even if they seem impossible. It’s your bucket list, so go for it! Here are my suggestions of how to write a bucket list:
- Make a list of everything you want to do in life from careers to travel adventures.
- Organize the list. For example: job goals, relationship goals, travel and cultural goals.
- Place all the goals on a timeline. (I like to use five-year increments)
- Put it in a safe place and update! Check off your accomplishments and add to your list when you think of something new.
Do you have a bucket list?
