We are halfway through our trip (London, Hong Kong and Taiwan) and I’ve done a lot of thinking during our travels lately. Between Hurricane Sandy, the election and general work craziness, it’s become even more obvious that there will always be factors outside of our control. You cannot control Mother Nature, other people’s opinions or deadlines. No matter where we are physically in this world, location does not spare us from difficulties or stress. We simply power through challenges, move on to new experiences and use our time wisely to make each and every second count. It is one of the reasons why I am so grateful to work with family! The pros always outweigh and cons and I love knowing that I can spend each day with the ones I love.
Things are just things, and they can be replaced. It’s about the people, not the places, in your life. It doesn’t matter where you are, it’s who you’re with. Cliche? Maybe. True? Definitely.
