Out of all the celeb news I’ve heard this week, this impressed me so much! Julianne Hough is using her celeb status (and experience with bullies and haters) to turn negative into positive. As an ambassador for the Kind Campaign, Hough will also be the newest partner of Kind Camp. The Kind Campaign was developed as a means to end girl on girl bullying – and through a documentary called Finding Kind and their first-ever day camp, 160 Los Angeles area girls will get the chance to find their kind.
From speakers like Hough addressing issues like “media and self-esteem,” to breakout sessions about self-image, tabloids and confidence, Kind Camp should be a pretty amazing experience. Several other high-profile women will join the roster of presenters and speakers at Kind Camp, touching upon tough subjects and other challenges young girls face every day.
