Last night was more than magical….I attended the Keep a Child Alive 7th annual
black ball at Hammerstein ball room in NYC, along with my husband JR and my
good friend Kamal to support one of my dearest friends Alicia Keys and her
husband producer Swizz Beatz.(Alicia
is the co-founder and global ambassador for Keep a Child Alive a program that
provides car and support for families affected by HIV/AID in Africa and India)
There is nothing more rewarding then seeing so many talented
artists and entrepreneurs for such an amazing cause like the Keep a child
Alive foundation.The night
started with a performance by the legendary Whitney Houston, Jay-Z& Swizz Beatz but my most pivotal moment
was when Alicia Keys sang a duet with the one and only Sade. Others in attendance were Uma Thurman, Usher, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Clive Davis, June Ambrose and many more.
I am so honored to have taken part of this amazing
organization not only are we helping each other, but we are saving lives and
this is what is most important to me the act of giving.
