How many of you often wish you were lucky enough to win the lottery? Lucky enough to be more successful or wonder why your friend’s life is going so right and not yours? People often come up to me telling me, wow you’re so lucky! I wish I was as lucky as you! The truth is some of us are at the right place at the right time. Many of us who you think are so lucky simply go out of their way to help others achieve their goals and in return they will help you become successful. Believe or not, you can just be as lucky.
3 steps on how to get lucky:
Be open minded and flexible: Never close yourself up in a box, always be up for the challenge and ready to take on new opportunities. Take the lid of your thinking think outside the box, always maximize your thinking caps in where you have exercised each possible way when a task is given to you. Look at challenges from a variety of viewpoints. Become flexible to do whatever it takes and whenever. Good opportunities don’t come often so if you’re boss tells you that he/she wants something immediately and you don’t know how to do it figure it out! Take the challenge, research, go out of your way at the end of the day he/she is challenging you and giving you an opportunity. If something doesn’t go as planned, think of it as an invitation to discover something better. Who knows? You might just get lucky.
Be aware of your surroundings: Become present, live in the now not the past. Instead of tallying your mental to do list while you are the park or getting your hair done, think outside the box. Notice people, places, read, research find other ways to figure things out. By being present in the here and now, you’re likely to see things others have missed.
Socialize and Social Network: people who socialize tend to easily find new business opportunities faster than those who don’t. The truth is opportunity is not going to come knocking on your door. You have to make it happen! Go out and get it, use social networks go on Facebook & Twitter promote yourself let people know who you are and that you are here to conquer the world. Connect with others and helping others can lead to unexpected and profitable ventures. Remember people lead to people.
